1.3.1 Status/Release?

Post by jsmegerman » Fri Mar 29, 2013 06:21

Not sure where to put this, but since this is a request I figured I'd put it here. Looking at the changelog in GitHub, it appears that there are several important and useful fixes in the 1.3.1 development branch. What is the status of the 1.3.1 branch as a whole? Is it fairly stable, or should I pick and choose specific fixes that I need for my environment?

Is the 1.3.1 release imminent, or is it still nebulous?

Thanks!

Hi

1.3.1 release is not "imminent", but we do work on it from time to time.
There have been some design changes which need further testing. Also, the upgrade functionality is not ready yet.

If you want you can cherry-pick certain bug fixes you need. However, do not use 1.3.1 pre-Release versions in a production environment!

Thanks for the reply. I pulled out specific fixes (namely the fix for unused advanced-services, and the security fixes) and applied them without issue. I'm not going to touch the full 1.3.1 prerelease as I don't want to muck with the design changes at this time.

Thanks for working on it!
