Configuration commit

Hi There

I installed today "nconf" because I'm searching for some userfriendly
Webinterface for Nagios that helps maintaining the stuff...

Question:

Why is the generated configuration not directly moved to the
destination directory "/etc/nagiso3/" as global etc....

So in fact. I have to generate the config with nconf and
then I have to (cli) move the config by hand and restart
Nagios???

Or is there any other way to do it?

I looks good but there is more basic things that should be default.
I mean to be realy user friendly...

Hi

In your setup, it seems you have NConf and Nagios on the same machine.
In our setup, we have nagios on different machines and NConf is seperate.

So you have to bring the files to nagios, but this can be automated with a cron job and script for example...

If you are running both on the same machine, you can make a cron job, like its described here:
http://apps.sourceforge.net/phpbb/nconf ... 9&t=23#p80
-> we added such a script for next release too

if your nagios is on an other webserver, read the documentation about config deployment:
http://apps.sourceforge.net/mediawiki/n ... deployment
