Nconf "interactive" configuration

Post by misconfig » Thu May 14, 2009 01:41

Let me start off by saying that the first steps of the guide were quite intuitive. I do appreciate all of the hard work provided via documentation and programming. I do however have an issue with the web-interface configuration portion of this. I cannot get past the STEP-1 of the "INSTALL.php" portion, once I click next to pass my database credentials the page simply "hangs".

Could you please offer some insight on how I could correct this issue - I'm sure it's all because of something I've missed.

Cheers,

I fixed the issue I was having - I'm installing NConf on RHEL 5 x86_64, the issue I was having was quite simple. It seems I didn't install the PHP-mysql package VIA YUM repository. I'm not proceeding with the install, cheers!

in the upcoming version 1.2.5, the installer will check if php-mysql is installed or not.
