Post by marcoshenrique » Sat Oct 06, 2012 18:32

Hello everybody, I am the user NCONF in BRAZIL and always recommend to my friends, I would like to translate it to your language (pt-BR) Brazil Portuguese translation after that many people will use it, for this I need the authorization of the directors NCONF in and let me know what files you can find the content to translate..

My goal is to contribute to the project and disseminate NCONF in Brazil.

Hi there. Thank you for your post and sorry for the late reply.

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to translate NConf. NConf was not built with the intention of multi-language support. To change the texts one would have to edit many files, change code etc.

For now, language support is not a top prioriry. Let me think of a way we can improve this in the future...

English is good enough for me but if you start localising - I can help with Russian :)

In general, just the basic framework must be ready for i18n, the translations themselves can be done by the community on launchpad/transifex/etc
