Possible Email Notification

Postby MaxHaker » Wed Mar 21, 2012 22:55

Is there a feature or method that i can use to get an email sent from Nconf about successful deployments and the changes made?

Hi,

As far as I know there's no such method available.
You can modify the deployment-scripts to send out an email.

There is no built-in method for this.
You could write a simple script to compare configs and sent you emails. This script could then be triggered by the deployment mechanism. Deployment allows you to run any commands before/after you deploy.

Thanks for the input, I've been putting a lot into this. The idea i'm going to pursue is a process/script triggered by the nagios restart when the deploy is ran. this process/script would grab the history info posted on the history page for the past 20 mins and attach to an email and send to all users configured in the nconf contacts.
