Hello --
I am planning on migrating from a Nagios 3.3.1 to Icinga 1.7 installation. The process will include building a new system that is a replica of the current Nagios server, and doing the appropriate procedure to convert it into the latter. To that end, I plan on also doing a scratch installation of NConf 1.3 onto the new system,
and I wanted to know if there are any issues or 'gotchas' that I should be aware of when doing the installation of NConf with Icinga.
Thanks.
Nconf 1.3 and Icinga 1.7
Re: Nconf 1.3 and Icinga 1.7
Hi,
The configuration of Icinga and Nagios is exactly the same and NConf is working fine with Icinga.
We use NConf in combination with Icinga in our company and also installed this setup for some customers without any problems.
Regards,
René

Thank-you for your reply. That's good to know the configuration is the same. I'll proceed with the installation, and hopefully it will be uneventful.
Cheers,
Andy
