I just installed nconf 1.2.5 with Ubuntu 8.04 and nagios 3.0.6. I am having a bit of an issue. Here is how is one of my routers configured.

and when I do Generate Nagios Config, I get:

What would be causing it? I do not have "admins" group, I have "sysadmins". Is there a way to fix it? Let me know, please! nconf is awesome, I have a 400 machine nagios installation to move to it!

There is a functionality in NConf that ensures specific group(s) are assigned to all hosts & services. This is to make sure admins always see all items in Nagios.
The name of the group(s) can be configured freely in your 'config/nconf.php' file. Look for the array $SUPERADMIN_GROUPS.

In your case, set this to:

$SUPERADMIN_GROUPS = array ("sysadmins");
