Check your permissions on the file and ensure that the web server has access to your nagios exe.

modified check_command does not update services

If you modify any given check_command, it does not propogate throughout the services it is assigned to, you have to manually update those. They should be able to inherit the update.

I will definitely give NConf the credit it is due. Without this tool, it would take a long time to generate the needed configuration for many servers. Right now, we only monitor maybe 60 servers, in comparison to companies that monitor thousands, but even with that number, I have had to maintain our...

Im in the same boat you are, and just now realized it. This is gonna suck, lol. I just spent a week designing a *complete* overhaul, but our environment is not yet big enough to support multiple collectors. I am getting *ready* to do that part, but it still is not ready.

Nods, I am familiar with the nagios page on the macros. I wasn't sure what Nconf was doing though, as its handling of the attributes isnt documented. Thanks :) Ill test it now. Ok.
